To strengthen our team, we are looking for a new colleague for the position of Terminal Tractor Driver (Shunter)
Job description (what you will do):
The work primarily consists of maneuvering trailers to and from the loading docks, parking trailers in the correct location on the site, setting refrigeration units, and checking the operation of the tail lifts. Occasionally, you may also assist in the warehouse with loading and unloading trucks using a forklift or electric pallet truck.
Your tasks include:
- Shunting trailers to and from the loading docks using a terminal tractor
- Communicating with your direct supervisor or planning department in case of any uncertainties
- The work primarily involves moving trailers between the terminal and loading docks; occasionally assisting with loading and unloading trailers using a forklift or EPT
- Working hours from 16:00 to 01:00, including a 1-hour break
- Overtime may occur on busy days
Job requirements (what you bring):
- Experience in a similar role
- A hands-on mentality and strong motivation
- Flexible, independent, and reliable attitude
- In possession of a T-driving license and preferably a forklift certificate
- You speak English, and preferably also Dutch
